ETS is a non-profit organisation whose mission, since its creation in 1947, is to “advance quality and  equity in education through fair and reliable assessments, research and ancillary services”.

Operating in more than 180 countries, ETS runs and corrects more than 50 million tests a year, with  world-renowned solutions primarily dedicated to education, higher education and recruitment, such  as the TOEIC®, TOEFL®, TFI™ and GRE® tests, and this across more than 9,000 sites around the world.

ETS has more than 3,000 employees, of which approximately 800 are researchers including world renowned psychometricians and statisticians. ETS has ISO 9001 and NQA (National Quality Assurance) certification.
