Swiss Post Solutions wanted to make the first days morepleasant for new recruits who—buried in information fromonboarding—had difficulty assimilating all the issues.

Actions taken

Two integration days are now organized for all newrecruits. New recruits are invited to attend these days only after theyhave been with the company for several weeks, when they havebegun to settle in.

Confirmed results

During these induction days, recent recruits aremuch more receptive to the messages delivered and are better ableto learn from them. On a more general level, this tends to allow betterloyalty and sense of belonging, improve productivity, and reduceturnover.
